Principal's Message

   I am honored to be the principal of such an amazing elementary school.  College Park is equipped with an amazing staff that focuses on developing students academically, socially, and emotionally.  College Park is committed to developing well rounded students by providing rich learning opportunities across the curriculum with a focus on developing strong readers.  Our team works hard to meet the needs of individual students through a well developed MTSS plan.  The work we do at College Park is anchored with the end in mind.  Each week at Flag Deck we end with the charge to our students “To be the best you can be, why?” to which our student reply, “Because we are College Bound!”  Elementary school is one of the first steps in becoming a human dedicated to development and growth.  Learning is a lifelong journey and our charge is to get our students well equipped for the adventure ahead of them.  

   Our work at College Park is a team effort and is supported by an incredible community that is anchored by our PTA.  Their commitment to supporting and providing wonderful and enriching events, and programs creates a special sense of community at College Park.  When we all work together we can truly provide an excellent educational experience for our children. 

   This is my 16th year serving in NMUSD and my 9th as an administrator.  My wife is in education as well and we have two sons, one in 5th grade, one in 3rd grade, and a daughter in kindergarten. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
